A WHITE CHRISTMAS IN ATLANTA

It started snowing around noon yesterday and continued into the evening.  Above is my house last night and below is my house early this morning.

It looks so pretty!  The temperatures are going to stay low today, so the snow might stay around for a couple of days.

Now I know this doesn't look like much snow to those of you in the Northern states, but this is the first real white Christmas in Atlanta since the 1880's.  This storm is headed toward the Northeast today - in the form of a blizzard.  Stay safe and warm!

Keep warm and well in the snow!

We have had a little in our part of the UK but some parts were snowed in. We seemed to be in a little pocket that missed the worst.

Lynne, we had a beautiful winter wonderland here in Charlotte too! I think it was the first since 1947 something like that! I got your card and yes we do have to get together for lunch when it gets warmer!

Your house is so beautiful, Lynne, with or without snow! My sister Rose in Powder Springs posted a bunch of pictures today too of the snow and the snowmen her kids made.

It's just so crazy that here in State College we had just a dusting overnight!
